Tribal Wars Stats

Hi all,

I started TW Stats in August last year with the aim of producing a small, quick site to provide features and availability that other TW tools sites did not provide.
Since then the site has grown faster and bigger than I could ever imagine. There are now versions of TW Stat's for 4 languages, and we often peak over 500 visitors online at the same time.

To allow for this growth my time and financial investment in to the site has grown by huge proportions. With over 4 million page views every month and over 500 thousand visits, the site will soon be using over a terabyte of traffic every month (that's 1024 gigabytes, or 1 099 511 627 776 bytes). The cost of bandwidth in the United Kingdom is not cheap, so this is straining me financially as I am a student. The funding I receive from Innogames is no longer enough to cover the site's costs.

The first measure is that effective immediately, TW Stats will be blocking access to Google's crawlers apart from the main entry page. This will mean that searching TW Stats via Google will no longer be possible until I have enough bandwidth.

My only request is that if you enjoy TW Stats; please consider making a donation to our server fund. Please do not think of this as a begging post, no matter what happens I am 100% committed to keeping TW Stats online, no matter how much it costs me. However, donating would be a good way of saying thank you for the work that goes in to this site. Anyone who does make a donation will be gain access to our development test site to test new features, and can have their name put on the credits list as a support.
