Tribal Wars Stats

Hi everyone,

Although things might have seemed quiet at TW Stats on the news front, we have still been extremely busy. Up until recently most of our work went into making sure TW Stats continues to be fast and stay online.

We now have our servers professionally monitored and so far our uptime for April has been 100% so it looks like finally everything is working as it should be in regards to the servers.

However we are now working on a new version of the TW Stats website, which will include a more sleek design (not the pink one), improved usability, better code, more useful features and small tweaks. We've also been tracking down some of the smaller elusive bugs to fix.

As new worlds became available you may have noticed that the global player/tribe search became increasingly slow. In the new version we have implemented a new global index for players and tribes which means that while before doing a search would take over 5 seconds, it now takes 0.21 seconds.

When the new site goes online you may notice the name 'New-Fangled' appears as the developer behind the site. Don't worry, we haven't been bought out or anything like that, we've just started operating under that name for business ventures as of March 2008. It's still the same people working on the site.

Lastly, we are looking into providing more services for those willing to go the extra mile while playing Tribalwars. It is likely that in the future we will offer paid hosting for tribe forums or even Tribalwars related forums, that will offer integration with TW Stats and other Tribalwars related information. We're also considering providing extra services at a small one time cost, but please rest assured that TW Stats will always remain a free to use site. Every feature and tool that you can see and use on the site as of this news post will never require payment to use.
